Birmingham-based automotive remanufacturer Shaftec Automotive has added 76 new driveshafts to its New To Range collection for February.
The new driveshafts are available for a range of car makes, including from Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Ford, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and much more. These vehicles also span a range of petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric models.
The 76 new parts for February join the seven brake calipers and 11 driveshafts in January’s additions to Shaftec’s New To Range portfolio.
Shaftec Marketing Manager Adrian Kitchen said: “We are always looking at where demand is heading and how we can stay one step ahead. Adding 76 new driveshafts to stock means broader coverage across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, giving our customers faster access to the parts they need. As a remanufacturer, availability is everything. By continually strengthening our portfolio, we are making it easier for workshops and motor factors to source reliable, high quality driveshafts without delay.”
Here are some signs that your driveshafts might need changing:
- Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage, such as cracks or dents.
- Check the inner/outer joints: Check for any play or looseness.
- Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could indicate a damaged driveshaft.
- Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could indicate a damaged driveshaft.
Shaftec always recommends that if drivers notice any issues with their vehicle, they seek the advice of an expert.
