LKQ UK and Ireland will showcase the strength of its full UK aftermarket ecosystem at this year’s UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, bringing together its people, products and specialist businesses to help workshops and bodyshops keep more work in-house and run more profitable operations.
Taking place on 3–4 June at the NEC Birmingham, LKQ will be represented across three key spaces: as headline partner on the Modern Garage stand alongside Messe Frankfurt, on a dedicated LKQ Euro Car Parts stand, and its Bodyshop division will be supporting the Bodyshop Village.
This year’s presence puts a spotlight on how LKQ is supporting the future of the independent aftermarket – from electric vehicle (EV) and sustainable repair solutions to expanded powertrain and product ranges – all backed by the scale, availability and delivery performance that workshops rely on every day.
A major highlight will be the opportunity for visitors to experience LKQ Electriq and LKQ SYNETIQ at UK Garage and Bodyshop Event for the first time, two of the group’s newest and most exciting specialist businesses.
LKQ Electriq will give visitors a first-hand look at dismantled high-voltage batteries and the realities of EV repair, while LKQ SYNETIQ will showcase one of the UK’s largest genuine used parts propositions – helping workshops access cost-effective, sustainable repair options.
Across the spaces, LKQ will group its support into three key areas:
- Future-ready repair – including EV servicing, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), air conditioning and LKQ Academy training, helping workshops build the skills and confidence to take on new work.
- Smarter, more sustainable solutions – from Plastrepair and Intelligent Repair Solutions to LKQ SYNETIQ’s reuse model, enabling bodyshops to repair rather than replace and improve margins.
- Expanded parts and product offer – including LKQ’s growing powertrain proposition, with used, remanufactured and new components, alongside new-to-market ranges such as Starline BlackStar braking, providing innovative, coated, corrosion-resistant discs.
On the LKQ Euro Car Parts stand, visitors will be able to connect directly with specialists across the business – from powertrain experts to LKQ Academy training teams. They can also find live demonstrations of repair techniques, tools and processes designed to improve efficiency and profitability.
Matt Robinson, B2B Director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “The UK Garage & Bodyshop Event is a key moment for us to show how the full strength of LKQ comes together to support our customers.
“It goes so far beyond showcasing products on a stand. It’s about connecting workshops and bodyshops with the parts, expertise and solutions that help them take on more work, improve margins and stay competitive.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming customers into our on-stand networking lounge, and to show how the LKQ family can help them move their business forward.”
Joanne Knowles, Event Director at Messe Frankfurt UK, organisers of the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event, commented:“LKQ’s presence at this year’s event perfectly reflects what the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event is all about – bringing together the people, innovation and practical solutions that are shaping the future of the aftermarket.
“From electrification and sustainability to skills and profitability, visitors will be able to see first-hand how the industry is evolving and what it means for their businesses. We’re delighted to have LKQ as a headline partner and to showcase the breadth of support they offer to workshops and bodyshops across the UK.”
