Delphi has released a new highlights video capturing the excitement, discussion and industry collaboration from its successful Make Some Noise. Delphi – Built for Silence campaign launch event held at the Delphi Training Academy back in May.
The video showcases moments from the event, which brought together workshops, distributors, influencers and industry professionals to explore the importance of braking quality, safety and technical excellence.
Hosted by YouTuber Sam Hard of Hard-Up Garage, the event featured an engaging panel discussion with Sophie Lyden, The Tyre Lady, and Mick Shaikly of ShaiklyMotors, alongside live technical demonstrations, networking opportunities and behind-the-scenes access to Delphi’s award-winning Training Academy.
At the heart of the campaign is a simple message: when it comes to braking, quality matters. Aliya Lam, UK Country Director at Delphi, said: “The launch event was about much more than introducing a new campaign. It was about bringing the industry together to have important conversations around braking safety, product quality and the role workshops play in educating motorists. The response on the day was fantastic, and this highlights video allows us to share that experience with an even wider audience to showcase exactly what Make Some Noise is all about.”
Launched in May, Delphi’s Make Some Noise. Delphi – Built for Silence campaign is designed to encourage workshops to look beyond price and understand the engineering behind premium braking components. Through a combination of OE-quality braking products, technical training, diagnostics and workshop support, Delphi is helping technicians deliver quieter, safer and more consistent braking performance.
Built around six key pillars, the campaign explores every aspect of modern braking performance and workshop success. These include the importance of friction materials in delivering safe, quiet braking; Delphi’s Professional+ braking range for light commercial vehicles; Delphi Academy training and technical support; raising industry awareness around quality braking; highlighting Delphi’s unique product and service offering, including its No Quibble Warranty; and helping workshops prepare for the growing number of Chinese vehicle brands entering the UK aftermarket.
Together, the six pillars reinforce Delphi’s commitment to supporting workshops beyond supplying parts – equipping technicians with the products, knowledge and confidence needed to carry out quality repairs first time, every time.
Lam added: “Make Some Noise is an ongoing campaign, not a one-day event. It’s built around six key themes that reflect the challenges and opportunities facing workshops today, from friction materials and technician training through to supporting new vehicle technologies and changing aftermarket demands.
“We’ll continue working with workshops, distributors and industry partners to raise awareness of what quality braking really looks like and why it matters for businesses, technicians and ultimately every road user.”
