If your evacuation plan depends on a lift, it’s not a plan

When an emergency strikes, lifts can’t be relied upon.

 

But what happens when someone in your building can’t use the stairs?

 

Whether it’s a wheelchair user, someone with a cognitive impairment, or a person recovering from injury, evacuation can quickly become a critical challenge.

 

In an ideal situation, an employee with a disability should carry out their work on the ground floor. Where this is not achievable, the above equipment could be needed in an emergency.
