In 1930 the then Motor Factors Association (MFA) was formed, then in 1990 it changed its structure to allow manufacturers and importers of vehicle parts to become full members, becoming the ADF. In 2010, we became known as the IAAF to reflect the inclusion of independent garages.

 

Today, the IAAF represents the entire automotive aftermarket chain, comprising manufacturers, suppliers, warehouse distributors, buying groups, motor factors and independent garages.

 

Members’ interests are protected by the activities of the IAAF, with their views and opinions clearly expressed to the various bodies whose activities affect the day-to-day running of an aftermarket business.
