In the dimensional inspection, every component is precisely measured, from the exact length and width to various diameters. The filter performance, in particular the air permeability, is checked using a modern test bench. “Pressure tests are carried out at various points on the filter and the results are combined into an average value,” explains Kevin.

• Maintenance intervals must be followed to ensure that the filter has a long lifetime.
• Intermediate cleaning for construction and agricultural vehicles: It is recommended to clean the air filter regularly for dust-intensive activities. If the filter is “tight”, it must be replaced or renewed at the latest when the interval indicates or specifies this.
• Installation instructions: The filters are all equipped with sealing rings, which must also be replaced. The installation instructions for the oil and fuel filters are marked on the cartridge.
