WHOCANFIXMYCAR CONFIRMS PERMANENT APPOINTMENT OF CEO AND CPTO ROLES

Tuesday 13 May 2025

WhoCanFixMyCar, the company behind the FixMyCar platform, the UK’s largest online car repair marketplace, has today announced the appointment of Amanda Webb and Isaac Hughesto two key c-suite roles, as CEO and Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) respectively, following a successful period occupying the positions on an interim basis.

Webb, who joined WhoCanFixMyCar as CFO in April 2024, is a CIMA Qualified Finance Director with over 20 years of experience across sectors including renewable energy services, telco, professional services, software and financial services.

Webb took over as Interim CEO in August of that year, leading the transformation of the business and growth of its B2C car repairs platform ‘FixMyCar’, as well as the development of its B2B proposition for fleet customers.

Hughes took on the position of Interim Chief Product & Technology Officer in November 2024 and has since led the transformation of the brand’s technical infrastructure and key product improvements for driver, garage and B2B customers. Hughes has almost 10 years of product leadership experience across B2B, B2C SaaS and eCommerce sectors.

Reflecting on this confirmation, WhoCanFixMyCar CEO, Amanda Webb, said, “I believe passionately in the service of FixMyCar and I couldn’t be more delighted to be confirmed as CEO. The FixMyCar brand is at such an important stage in its transformation and we have a strong and exciting vision for the future.

What the brand has to offer to multiple customer groups has never been more valuable, and I am excited to be leading the improvements that will make this more evident in delivering success for our customers, as well as the industry more broadly. Our Garage Network remains at the heart of our business and we want to be bringing more value to them so we can, in turn, enhance the customer experience for both B2C and B2B Customers.”

Isaac Hughes, now confirmed as CTPO, said, “In the last six months I’ve been remarkably impressed by the direction of the brand’s product development and the increasing relevancy we are seeing with market fit.

I am delighted to accept confirmation of this new role and thrilled at the opportunity of leading such a dedicated team of highly skilled people through a key milestone in the business’ growth.”

WhoCanFixMyCar’s parent company, Niterra, (formally known as NGK Spark Plug Co. Ltd), acquired the UK business in June 2023, sighting the strategic acquisition as a step towards further strengthening its position in the automotive Aftermarket, while also expanding its services to new levels so that it can provide new solutions to the Aftermarket in the future.”
