Schaeffler has revealed that it will be increasing the value of its REPXPERT points, so members will get more ‘bang for their buck’ in the bonus shop!
To meet the increasing demands of modern automotive and commercial vehicles, Banner – Europe’s leading manufacturer of lead-acid batteries and battery accessories – has expanded its range of EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) and AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries.
Alongside three new EFB models that are ideally suited to start-stop passenger cars, hybrid, electric vehicles, comes a new AGM designed specifically for commercial vehicle and plant applications.
The four new battery types will help strengthen Banner’s unrivalled position as a total solutions provider for all types of drive systems – from traditional combustion engines to hybrid and fully electric vehicles. Indeed all of the new products can accommodate the demands of today’s modern start-stop systems, additional electric consumers, and alternative drive types that are placing increasing demands on modern batteries.

“Banner’s starter and onboard power supply batteries are ideally suited for all types of vehicle drives – from combustion engines and hybrids to battery electric vehicles (BEVs). And this product range expansion is an important step in continuing to offer customers the most comprehensive coverage possible of the European aftermarket vehicle fleet through the supply of OE-quality battery technology,” he adds.
New Running Bull EFB
Banner’s passenger car range is being expanded with three new EFB types, developed specifically for vehicles with start-stop technology and mild-hybrid systems. The Running Bull EFB 552 11 (H4/L1 – 52 Ah/540 A EN) is suitable for numerous modern models from Alfa Romeo, Audi, Fiat, Lancia, Seat, Skoda, Suzuki, and VW.
The Running Bull EFB 595 11 (H8/L5 – 95 Ah/850 A EN) additionally covers new model series from Alfa Romeo, Audi, Fiat, Maserati, Nissan, Renault, Seat, Skoda, and VW.
The range is complemented by the Running Bull EFB 555 16 (45NS/B24 – 55 Ah/460 A EN), developed specifically for Subaru Boxer and e-Boxer models with a dual-battery system. With a total of 16 different start-stop batteries, Banner now covers around 90 percent of the European vehicle market – eight of which are specially designed for Asian makes.
In essence, the four new battery types stand for maximum reliability and ensure flawless functionality in everyday use – even under extreme conditions. Thanks to their considerably longer lifespan, they also deliver maximum efficiency by significantly reducing total cost per operating cycle. The expanded range provides flexible, precisely fitting solutions for almost all vehicle segments, making it ideally suited to the diverse requirements of modern fleets.
