MEYLE appoints Karl Varley as Head of Sales UK and Ireland

MEYLE , the German spare part manufacturer has appointed Karl Varley as Head of Sales UK and Ireland as part of its commitment to driving growth and strengthening partnerships across the regions.

 

Kirsten Rothe, Vice President Sales Europe at MEYLE comments: “Karl is a key asset to the team and a natural choice for this position. He brings a strong combination of technical understanding, commercial experience and deep knowledge of the market. Having already been instrumental in developing customer relationships and driving growth at MEYLE, Karl is ideally positioned to lead the UK and Ireland sales team and continue building our presence in the region.”

 

Varley brings more than 15 years of experience in the sector to the position, including over three years with MEYLE as an Account Manager. During this time, he played a strategic role in developing existing relationships with key accounts further, securing new business and identifying commercial growth opportunities across the UK.

 

Prior to joining MEYLE, Varley built a strong foundation in the industry through technical roles before progressing into business development and key account management positions with a global supplier of car and truck parts. His background spans international buying groups as well as independent motor factors, giving him a broad understanding of the industry.

 

In his new role, Varley will focus on driving further growth, developing the sales team, strengthening key customer partnerships, pursuing new opportunities and helping to lead the brand across the UK and Ireland. He will also work closely with MEYLE’s European sales leadership, marketing and technical teams to support long-term market development.
