Castrol Classic Oils Joins IAAF, Supporting Heritage Vehicles and Aftermarket Growth

Monday 13 Apr 2026

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has welcomed Promapac LLP, trading as Castrol Classic Oils, as its latest member, further strengthening the Federation’s network of businesses committed to supporting the long-term success and diversity of the independent aftermarket.

Castrol Classic Oils specialises in lubrication and fuel additives designed specifically for classic and heritage vehicles. With a loyal and passionate customer base, the company provides a comprehensive range of oils formulated to meet the needs of older engine designs, ensuring the correct viscosities and additive balance to protect traditional materials and lubrication systems in line with original manufacturer specifications.

The Castrol Classic range covers a broad spectrum of vehicles, while its wider heritage portfolio supports cars dating back to the earliest days of motoring. Having been proud custodians of the Castrol Classic brand since 1996, the business continues to play a key role in preserving and supporting the classic vehicle market.

The decision to join the IAAF reflects Castrol Classic Oils’ ambition to strengthen relationships across the aftermarket and support the growth of its distribution network.

Damien Keegan, National Accounts Manager at Castrol Classic Oils, said: “We believe that joining the IAAF marks an exciting step forward for us. It will help us connect with more of the partners we’re actively looking to collaborate with as we continue building on our 30+ year journey.

“This move also opens the door to new opportunities across the UK and beyond. At the same time, it strengthens our ability to support motor factors and distributors with an innovative, UK supply chain-based product range—one that’s already seeing growing demand.”

By joining the IAAF, Castrol Classic Oils will gain access to valuable industry insights, networking opportunities and the Federation’s ongoing work to represent and support the independent aftermarket across key areas including skills, legislation and market development.

Mark Field, Chief Executive of the IAAF, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Castrol Classic Oils to the IAAF. The classic vehicle sector remains an important and specialist part of the aftermarket, and their expertise in this area brings valuable depth to our membership. It’s great to see businesses that are committed to supporting both heritage vehicles and the wider industry.”

The IAAF continues to play a vital role in supporting its members through advocacy, education and collaboration, ensuring the independent aftermarket remains competitive, connected and well-positioned for the future.
