Exol Lubricants has officially been presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, during a special visit from the Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands, His Majesty The King’s personal representative in the region.
The Lord-Lieutenant visited Exol’s Wednesbury headquarters at the start of October to formally present the award and meet members of the team behind the company’s export success. The visit recognised Exol’s outstanding achievement in international trade, having built a strong global presence in more than 40 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
During the visit, the Lord-Lieutenant was given a guided tour of Exol’s facilities, learning more about the company’s operations, its ongoing investment in sustainability, its facilities and the dedicated team that made this milestone possible.
Following the presentation, the Exol team enjoyed light refreshments, photo opportunities and informal discussions with the Lord-Lieutenant, who congratulated them on their hard work and contribution to the industry.
Steve Dunn, Sales & Marketing Director at Exol Lubricants, commented: “It was a real honour to welcome the Lord-Lieutenant to our Wednesbury site and to receive the King’s Award for Enterprise in person. This award is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Exol and reflects the dedication, expertise and hard work that drives our success both in the UK and overseas.”
Paul Eastwood, Export Sales Manager at Exol Lubricants, added: “Our international growth has been built on strong relationships, trusted partnerships and a commitment to quality. To have that recognised at the highest national level is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
The King’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious business accolade, celebrating outstanding achievements by UK companies. Exol received the award earlier this year in recognition of its sustained growth, export performance and strategic development in international markets.
The Award programme, now in its 59th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Award emblem for the next five years.
