Andy Richardson from eBay opens Autofixa Live 2026
eBay’s Andy Richardson will open Autofixa Live 2026, the UK’s dedicated automotive ecommerce and marketplace summit, on Wednesday 14 May at the iconic MK-7 Red Bull Racing Arena in Milton Keynes.
National breakdown provider Green Flag is enhancing its roadside capabilities by rolling out Hella Gutmann’s new mega macs S 20 diagnostic tool across its owned fleet of patrol vehicles. Compact, powerful and easy to use, the S 20 supports Diagnostics over Internet Protocol (DoIP), CAN-FD, and offers built-in access to vehicle manufacturer security gateways – crucial for working on today’s cyber-secure vehicles.
Enabling technicians to diagnose and resolve complex faults at the roadside, the S 20 strengthens Green Flag’s ability to keep drivers moving. Whether it’s a quick fix on the spot or identifying the most suitable repair destination, the advanced diagnostic tool provides the data needed to make fast, informed decisions.
“The mega macs S 20 provides the diagnostic insight needed to quickly assess vehicle faults,” said Julian Goulding, Head of Garage Equipment at Hella Gutmann. “It helps maximise first-time fixes and streamlines onward recovery where workshop intervention is required.”
Green Flag’s investment underscores the company’s commitment to delivering smart, tech-enabled roadside assistance and gives motorists peace of mind that their recovery operator is equipped to handle the latest vehicle systems.
“Our patrol technicians need to quickly and accurately assess a wide variety of vehicles every day, so having the right diagnostic tools on board is essential to delivering a fast and efficient service,” said Damon Jowett, Director of Customer, Roadside & Network Services.
Launched earlier this year, the mega macs S 20 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth or USB-C to Android devices, delivering fast and flexible diagnostics wherever it’s needed.
To support the deployment, Hella Gutmann delivered a ‘train-the-trainer’ programme, ensuring Green Flag’s technical leads can pass on in-depth knowledge of the system. The rollout will continue in phases, with additional units and support provided as Green Flag’s owned fleet grows.
For a limited time, the S 20 is available for £2,150 + VAT (reduced from £2,450), including a rugged Android tablet and two years of software updates.
