GSF Car Parts, the UK’s leading car parts distributor, has announced the opening of the penultimate new branch of the calendar year in GSF Barking, a further expansion in the capital to extend the reach of the leading motor factors capabilities in Greater London. The new branch brings the total number of GSF locations ever closer to 200 with their 193rd Branch and 14^th new branch of the year.

The Barking branch boasts 5340 square feet of space and a fleet of four vans and four bikes, opening up the eastern side of London and cutting delivery times north of the river. Customers in east London will be able to benefit from greater availability and delivery times of under half an hour. The branch is fully operational and has created employment for 9 full-time members of staff.

Barking Branch Manager Harry Ambalal Patel said: “We have a fantastic community of garages here, so the Barking branch is well located to service them efficiently. We’ll be running regular deliveries, as our patch is quite large, so we can ensure our customers will have no trouble getting the parts they need in a timely manner.”

The car parts distributor now employs over 3,000 team members across the network. The opening of GSF Barking follows last month’s launch of new branches in Ruislip and Stockton, as well as the significant investment in a new 500,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton.
