On Wednesday 30 September, IAAF is holding a Communities Day at Hilton Hotel, St George’s Park, Burton upon Trent, home of English Football. This will replace all scheduled meetings that week and be an ideal opportunity to present to members the activities of each community.
IAAF has more than 80 people involved in its communities and the aim of the day will be to both network and communicate the progress of each area of IAAF involvement, such as Gender Balance, Commercial Vehicle, Main Council, Garage Section, Skills & Recruitment and, Lobbying & Technical. IAAF Technical Director James Dillon will also provide an insight into “The rise of the Chinese vehicle parc and what it means for the UK aftermarket.”
Angela Neale will send an invite with more details. We have secured a small number of hotel rooms on Tuesday 29 September, so please let Angela know if you require accommodation. The meeting takes place during an international break so we are still investigating the possibility of a tour of St George’s Park.
IAAF will also use the occasion to hold its Annual General Meeting.
