Involution has acquired the Print.Inc brand and assets, a strategic move that boosts manufacturing capacity and service flexibility for the Automotive Aftermarket. Print.Inc, a well-established print provider with forecast turnover in excess of £4.0m for 2025, now joins the Involution brand, further strengthening Involution’s offering to automotive brands, distributors and workshops.
Founded in 1999, Involution has grown into one of the Aftermarket’s most trusted brand partners across EMEA in print, workwear, and promotional merchandise. With over 26 years of proven expertise, a loyal customer base, a debt-free position, and a reputation built on quality and service, Involution is well placed to build on this acquisition and deliver even greater value and innovation to its customers.
Strategic Growth for the Aftermarket
“The acquisition of Print.Inc, who were forecast to turnover in excess of £4m in 2025, marks a significant strategic step for Involution, building on our continued growth in the Aftermarket,” said Tim Rahill, Business Development Director. “It represents a real step forward for our customers, who will access a wide range of additional services and by dealing directly with Involution as the manufacturer they will benefit from innovation and cost effectiveness that is not possible by dealing with middlemen.”
Michael Ainsworth, Manging Director of Involution, added: “Since founding Involution, we have always focused on growth through innovation, service and investment. The acquisition of Print.Inc is an exciting step that strengthens our manufacturing capabilities and gives our automotive customers faster, more flexible and more cost-effective solutions than ever before.”
200+ New Products, Faster Turnarounds, and Greater Flexibility
The acquisition of Print.Inc assets, along with key specialist staff, significantly increases Involution’s production capability, expertise, and turnaround speed. Combined with recent investments in facilities, portals, and online gamification, this ensures automotive customers can access a fully flexible service without unnecessary cost or waste.
With the addition of new machinery and capabilities, Involution can now offer over 200 new products with low-to-no minimum order flexibility and express turnaround times. These include:
- Advanced print finishes such as foiling, lamination, stamping and pad printing
- Branded sticker packs with custom headers, die-cut paper products such as bespoke mirror hangers
- Expanded ranges of booklets, printed stationery and premium business cards
- Large-format screen printing and garment finishing, such as woven patches and neck labels
These services are now available in lower, cost-effective volumes – eliminating the need for bulk orders, reducing waste, and giving automotive customers faster access to branded merchandise, printed literature, and workwear for marketing campaigns, customer promotions and workshop programmes.
A Manufacturer, Not a Middle Man.
By expanding the range of products produced in-house, Involution guarantees value for money, shorter lead times and maximum flexibility in order size and customisation. The Print.Inc acquisition strengthens this model, enabling Involution to deliver the most comprehensive and cost-effective manufacturing solution in the Automotive Aftermarket.
Tim Rahill, Business Development Director, concluded: “This acquisition accelerates our ambitious growth strategy to 2030. More importantly, it ensures we deliver faster, more flexible, and more cost-effective solutions for our customers in the Automotive Aftermarket. We look forward to developing our programmes with our key customers in the coming months.”
