In response to customer feedback requesting them, we are pleased to announce the introduction of new Brake Calipers for the Tesla Model S and X to the febi range: febi 194914/5 & 194944/5. These Calipers have been produced using high-strength alloy, featuring an OE colour-matched hard anodised coating.

Matthew Bradfield, Category Procurement Manager, Brake Actuation, explained: “With the support of our manufacturing partner, we conducted metallography and chemical analysis, using optical emission spectroscopy to identify the specific grade of aluminium used for the brake caliper housing. This also included Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy to identify the type and micron thickness of the surface coating. It is testament to the skill and experience of both our team and our manufacturing partner that we are able to be among the first to bring these brake calipers to market, and I want to thank everyone involved for their efforts in making this happen.”
