2020 has been a record year for EAG!

Date: Monday 11 January 2021

2020 has been hailed a success for Excel Automotive Group (EAG), with the company expanding its product lines, delivery fleet and sales.

EAG was acquired by Tony Bhogal with Adrian Lamb less than two years ago and in that time, the company has gone from strength to strength. In just the past few months, TRICO wiper blades, Suplex coil springs, RYMEC clutches and Celect braking have all joined the extensive EAG portfolio.

These new products complement the core EAG branded ranges of steering & suspension, wheel bearings, driveshafts, CV joints and calipers, all of which are constantly being extended to improve availability. The company has also gained approvals with several UK buying groups.

Members of staff have also been introduced to help with the growing business, including new Operations Director, Chris Burnside, alongside new delivery vehicles to its fleet. The new vehicles were key for the company’s future growth, as EAG also launched a same day delivery service in the local area, providing motor factors with reliable components quickly.

EAG’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Bhogal, commented:

“We’ve made a conscious effort to increase our product portfolio and introduce new references to cater for the needs of the aftermarket. This has included new partnerships with renowned businesses and we’re thrilled that we’re growing at the rate we are, something we obviously want to continue in the new year.
“We’re hoping that 2021 will be as prosperous as 2020 has been for us, and with the activity we’re planning, we’re certain that it will be!”

Managing Director, Adrian Lamb (pictured above), said:

“With everything that happened in the world in 2020, we were surprised at how busy it was in the aftermarket, it just goes to show that pandemic or not, customers still need their cars repairing! We’re proud of our acheivements this year and we’ll keep improving to provide factors with comprehensive, reliable and premium quality product ranges.”

Operations Director, Chris Burnside, said:

“I was thrilled to join the EAG team this year, they’re quickly establishing themselves as a prominent supplier in the aftermarket and constantly adapting to customer needs. I know that 2021 is going to be an even better year for us and we have lots of activity in the pipeline that will certainly benefit our customers.”
