Arnold Clark Autoparts urges garages and service centres to stock up for MOT season and use A-Points loyalty scheme

Date: Thursday 25 August 2022

Arnold Clark Autoparts is encouraging garages and service centres to stock up on parts ahead of the busy MOT season and use its A-Points loyalty scheme, which rewards customers for their spend.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, motorists were given the option of an MOT extension, meaning garages were busier than ever during September and October carrying out MOTs. Arnold Clark Autoparts is recommending that technicians purchase key products ahead of the MOT season – and if they use the company’s A-Points programme, they can earn points and prizes.

Launched in 2021 and exclusive to the trade, A-Points rewards garages for purchases through Arnold Clark Autoparts with loyalty points being credited back to accounts every month. Items such as the new Ultratec range of lubricants and select brake pads, brake discs, springs, shock absorbers, batteries and exhausts feature in the scheme.

With an increased range of available qualifying products, customers can quickly accrue A-Points to spend on the latest tech, holidays, restaurants vouchers, fitness equipment and cinema trips.

Craig McCracken, group factor manager, said:

“We’re rewarding garages for their spend with Arnold Clark Autoparts. They can now benefit from even more exclusive rewards via the A-Points loyalty platform on a wider range of products than ever before.
“As we head into the MOT season, garages should be stocking up on essentials to ensure they can complete jobs as quickly and efficiently as possible – and make sure they can get hands on parts before they sell out!”

Since its launch last year, A-Points has gathered momentum with garages across the country also benefitting from unique offers through the platform.
