Banner unveils optimised battery finder portal

Banner - one of Europe’s leading original equipment battery manufacturers – has launched an updated version of its online battery finder portal - www.bannerbatteryfinder.co.uk.

Having invested in an intensive programme of development work, the site now incorporates a raft of additional features, all designed and integrated to make the life of those who are called on to replace car batteries as simple and straight forward as possible.

So what’s new?

• Leading the refinements are tools such as comprehensive information relating to a battery’s exact location on the vehicle. No longer is it simply a case of looking under the bonnet. Knowing the correct location from the outset will undoubtedly prove beneficial.
• Detailed fitting instructions. Step by step, the portal is on hand to ensure that battery removal and replacement is as seamless and stress free as possible.
• Battery diagnostics. Check out all aspects of best practice and what is required when it comes to the field of diagnostics.
• Enhanced technical information. Full technical data is on hand in an easy-to-understand and clearly presented format.

A particularly valuable tool to the garage technician, gaining access to the additional features is a via simple Garage log in section that can be accessed from the burger menu on the portal’s home page.

In addition to the new features, the web portal maintains its user friendliness. Indeed finding the optimum replacement battery for a specific vehicle has never been easier. Site visitors simply need to enter the relevant vehicle registration into a novel ‘number plate’ shaped window and the search facility does the rest. As well as displaying the relevant Banner battery for the vehicle in question, supplementary information is presented in the form of the relevant part number, capacity, power rating and Suggested Selling Price (SSP), inc VAT.
