Carwood becomes latest IAAF member

Date: Thursday 20 April 2023

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) continues to bolster its membership for 2023, through welcoming remanufacturer, Carwood, to its list of members.

With more than 50-year’s expertise, Carwood is a leading remanufacturer and technical services provider for the global car, commercial vehicle, off-highway, motorsport and defence industries.

Carwood’s remanufactured portfolio spans OEM-approved fuel injectors and pumps, DPFs, turbochargers, engines, starters, alternators and other coil wound electrical components for current and future-generation technologies.

Deputy Managing Director at Carwood, Simon Quantrell, said:

“We are committed to supporting a stronger more sustainable aftermarket, values which we know the IAAF share. Membership will give us a platform to continue to do this, whilst keeping up to date with the very latest industry trends, legislation and parc data (via GIPA).
“Many of our customers are already associated with the federation, so we were keen to join, to share our insights, but more importantly, listen to the voice of the customer and the wider industry.”

Being part of the IAAF membership, Carwood will have access to the federation’s wide range of benefits including entry to industry networking events and insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket.

Mark Field, Chief Executive at IAAF, comments:

“We really appreciate Carwood’s efforts and support to help our lobbying activity and know they’ll be a great addition to our expanding membership. Carwood has a wealth of industry experience and we’re looking forward to sharing knowledge and skills to better the automotive aftermarket together.”
