Coming to a town near you! The Textar trailer travelling 160,000KM every year

TMD Friction UK has successfully commissioned a Textar trailer, which will clock up more than 160,000 kilometres on the UK’s roads this year.
The Lawrence David trailer – fully Textar liveried with its famous yellow and black colours promoting its passenger car and commercial vehicle OE quality pedigree and brake technology – will join the 350 strong fleet of logistics provider The Green Group, which transports products up and down UK roads 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as well as having warehousing capacity for over 40,000 pallets at their facility in Trafford Park, Manchester.
The trailer has already proved popular on Textar social media channels and more activity including competitions is planned shortly.
The 13.6 metre long trailer offers capacity for up to 52 pallets and will also be used to promote Textar at various UK events including motor racing, such as the British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC).

For passenger car applications, the Textar braking range includes more than 1600 disc brake pads and over 1600 brake discs. The brake disc range is manufactured in strict accordance to OE tolerances and meets the ECE R90-requirements covering 99 percent of the European vehicle parc.
On commercial vehicle applications, Textar friction products offer a perfect combination of superior braking performance, long service life and low disc and drum wear. For drum brake applications, more than 70% of all commercial vehicles in Europe are fitted with Textar brake linings as standard.
