DENSO helping technicians through the winter

Date: Friday 12 February 2021

To make life easier in the workshop this winter, DENSO is offering technicians the opportunity to receive a branded beanie hat or mechanics gloves when they purchase glow plugs from a participating distributor.

DENSO is a world leader in diesel technology and was the first original equipment (OE) manufacturer of ceramic glow plugs in 1991 and pioneered the common rail system in 1995. This expertise continues to allow the company to help vehicle manufacturers around the world to create increasingly responsive, efficient and reliable vehicles.

"DENSO Aftermarket draws on this expertise to provide the independent sector with an OE quality all-makes glow plug programme that benefits from DENSO's cutting edge diesel technology and allows workshops to fit the very best replacement components to their customers' vehicles," explains DENSO Europe, Pan European Strategic Marketing Manager, Fatiha Laauich.

"To help technicians stay warm and continue to do their valuable work this winter, we're working with our distributors through to the end of March, to provide them with either a high quality, DENSO branded beanie or mechanics gloves.

"All that's required to claim one of these useful items is to purchase DENSO glow plugs from a participating supplier.
"To enable them to identify a participating distributor, we've created a specific landing page on our website, so all they have to do is visit https://www.denso-am.co.uk/special-pages/gppromo/ and chose one.
"While they are there, those who have yet to sign up to our online training programme can do so by clicking the 'E-LEARNING' tab https://www.denso-am.co.uk/training/ and benefit from our interactive, IMI accredited training. The courses are free and will help them in their career development. Each module, which include spark plugs, glow plugs, starters, alternators and air conditioning systems, can be completed separately and at their own speed, as the progress is saved on the system as they go along."
