The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation

Final call issued for new IAAF regional meeting bookings

Date: Friday 06 October 2023

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has issued its last call for members to register for the Federation’s new regional meetings, being held from Tuesday 10th-Thursday 12th October.

Meetings are planned for Tuesday 10th October, Wednesday 11th October and Thursday 12th October at IAAF members Ring Automotive in Leeds, SMP Europe in Nottingham, and Hella in Banbury respectively.

Each meeting represents IAAF’s new way of taking its message out to the aftermarket, as it continues its relentless lobbying work and ensuring businesses across all corners of the aftermarket are equipped for the future.

On the agenda at the new regional meetings are updates on events and lobbying activity, along with the launch of new initiatives on training, and the unveiling of a new member guide on the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulations Order (MVBEO) and what the implications are for the aftermarket.

Mark Field, chief executive of IAAF, said: “The regional meetings are a must-attend for those who want to ensure their businesses comply with the latest legislation and they are fully up to speed with changes to block exemption regulations.

“Each regional meeting provides a unique opportunity to network with fellow members and also benefit from a comprehensive tour of each host member’s premises, which includes the UK’s only beam research lab at Ring, SMP Europe’s specialist engineering facility, and Hella’s vehicle electronics centre.”

Places for each of the meetings are still available via online booking forms:

Tuesday 10th October at Ring Automotive in Leeds
Wednesday 11th October at SMP Europe in Nottingham
Thursday 12th October at Hella in Banbury
