Fourth and TecAlliance consolidate eparts and Order Manager sales and support services in UK & Ireland

Date: Thursday 19 November 2020

Fourth and TecAlliance have consolidated sales and support services for their eparts and Order Manager (formerly known as TecCom) products in UK and Ireland, bringing about a more centralised service, coordinated directly from the UK.

In 2007, the TecCom and eparts services were linked under a joint marketing initiative called PACT. Its aim was to facilitate effective electronic trading between automotive suppliers / manufacturers and parts distributors throughout the UK and Ireland. The initiative has successfully connected approaching 2500 motor factor locations with over 100 leading UK suppliers and works in partnership with all major buying groups and independent distributors.

PACT offers solutions for both new entrants and established businesses and has provided a common electronic trading solution to the trade since 2007. For suppliers and buyers alike, PACT enables a business to remove the cost of unnecessary manual repetitive trading processes and bring about substantial efficiencies in its supply chain.

The evolution of the PACT agreement now sees Mark Rudge head up operations in the UK as a sole, central point of contact. Managing sales and service delivery for both Order Manager and eparts, the simplified structure delivers value for all PACT enabled users through consistent, localised first line support and account management.

Mark Rudge, PACT director, will be supported by the existing UK team of Andy Newton and Omar Faruq and will be linked in to both organisations (Fourth and TecAlliance). He said:

“This is an exciting development in our relationship, which is set bring a marked improvement to the effectiveness of our support and service delivery capability for all PACT-enabled users and partners. Our dedicated UK-based support team will own, escalate and manage all PACT related Support cases, from creation to resolution.”

Xavier Thiberge, Sales Manager Europe – Partner Management, Business Unit Order Manager, added:

“Bringing eparts and Order Manager sales and support even closer together has enormous benefits for our PACT customers and we are delighted to be able to transition to this combined service in the UK so effectively.”

More businesses signing up to PACT will be announced in the coming months, along with the introduction of new value added services, such as electronic Warranty and Returns Management.
