IAAF adds MEHA Automotive to its membership

Date: Friday 26 November 2021

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has grown its membership further with the addition of leading supplier of metalliferous products, MEHA Automotive UK.

MEHA Automotive UK produces Engine Mountings, Steering and Suspension components and many other parts, offering the automotive aftermarket in excess of 4,500 product lines from its UK distribution centre based near Peterborough, which opened in 2021.

The company was founded by Ilhami Akin in 2012 and currently employs over 200 people across the globe.

David Badcock, Sales Manager at MEHA Automotive UK, comments:

“MEHA Automotive is an established brand in Turkey, and through our membership with the IAAF we want to grow awareness of the MEHA brand in the UK using the federation’s networking capabilities and partnerships to benefit the future of the UK Automotive Aftermarket.”

Along with access to the IAAF’s networking events, MEHA Automotive UK will gain insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket and have access to the federation’s free legal helpline, credit protection advice and lifestyle protection plans.

Mike Smallbone, Head of Membership Development at the IAAF, comments:

“We’re pleased to welcome MEHA Automotive into the membership, as we look ahead to a new year. 2022 looks set to be a challenging but exciting year for our trade.”
