Latest IAAF Intelligence Report released

The latest IAAF Market Intelligence Report, in partnership with GiPA, is out now and includes information on new passenger car sales, MOT test volume forecast for 2023, historical used car sales in EU5 countries, and transportation inflation over the last 12 months.
Key takeaways are included below:
- A detailed overall year-to-date round up reveals that there has been nearly 3m cars registered in the EU5 up until the end of April. This is up over 17% on the same period, with Spain continuing a strong trajectory of growth in new car sales.
- The MOT seasonality drive continues to impact MOT, service and repairs, with a detailed graph providing a DVSA forecast for 2023.
- The five biggest car parcs of Western Europe have been revealed, with Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom taking the top spots.
- Although the overall inflation rate is no longer increasing, it remains high, with a level of 8.9% recorded in March 2023.
