Lucas Oil Stabilizer Message at MechanEx

Date: Monday 24 October 2022

At the MechanEx Show in Sandown Park next month (8-9 November 22), Lucas Oil Academy (LOA) representatives will be clarifying the differences between oil stabilizer products in the oil and lubricant manufacturer’s range.

The LOA is the UK training arm of the US oil, lubricants and additives manufacturer.

The range of three different additives is designed to fortify existing oils and provide greater levels of engine protection in different sets of circumstances.

Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer is the most recognisable product among the three. It was designed for older, high milage or worn engines. It is highly flexible and was designed as be used as an additive for engine oils, gear box oils and differential oils. More specifically, it is:

• Ideal for use with synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral oils
• Better suited to 10w-40 and 20w-50 oil specifications
• A good solution for 5w-30 and 5w-40 oil specifications if engine wear/high milage is evident

Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer was developed for newer vehicles using synthetic oil specifications (5w-30 and 5w-40) and is designed for use as a preventative maintenance product. It was specifically developed for high performance engines.

Low Viscosity Stabilizer is the latest additive in the Lucas Oil stabilizer family. It was designed for the latest vehicle engine specifications and is ideally suited to vehicles equipped with 0w oil specifications (0w-16, 0w-20, 0w-30, 0w-40). It is hybrid safe, variable valve timing solenoid safe and cylinder deactivation safe.

LOA representatives will be on the Lucas Oil stand to answer technical questions and to meet trainers from around the UK and to discuss the potential for bring future training opportunities to the learners at their own establishments.
