Maverick Diagnostics’ vehicle diagnostics blog reaches number one in the UK

Date: Tuesday 23 May 2023

Maverick Diagnostics’ vehicle diagnostics blog has been named as the best in the UK by Feedspot, a popular RSS feed reader that ranks content on its popularity, quality and relevance to respective industries.

This suite of content, which also positioned in the top 15 vehicle diagnostic blogs globally, provides a wealth of knowledge on diagnostics, tools and technologies. Posts also include human-interest stories, news and legislation updates. It is an eclectic mix of material that has proven a hit with a worldwide audience: https://www.maverickdiagnostics.com/blog/

For example, in a recent post written by Maverick Diagnostics Technical Director, Dave Jones, he delves into the world of dealer tools and, specifically, rates the hardware and software of the Xentry Pass Thru EU, Xentry Diagnosis Lite and Mercedes-Benz Xentry Kit 4.

He also offers a quick comparison of the types of products on offer, all of which are available from Maverick Diagnostics with initial training included. One of its Help Desk technicians will guide the user through the basics of functionality, software updates and subscriptions during an online training session.

It’s not just technical content that’s proved interesting: Maverick Diagnostics Managing Director, Andy Brooke, gave an emotional and inspiring account of his experiences with dyslexia, how it has affected his life and career, and offers some advice to fellow industry professionals.

He said:

“I work with mainly dealer diagnostic tools, software, computers, and network systems and have done for too many years to count. I feel I’m well-placed to understand the struggles many have.
“For example, when I’m reading diagnostic instructions on a screen, I must read through them many times, to make sure I’m not going to ‘brick’ the car.
“When under pressure to get a diagnostic job done, it can be stressful. I now feel dyslexia has made me a far better technician; I am forced to be very methodical. I’m now able to think laterally and carefully about all sorts of situations.”

On the success of the blog, Andy added:

“Our blog content is thought-provoking; it tackles topics and offers insights that we are confident benefit technicians in their everyday surroundings.
“As professionals look to keep up with increasingly sophisticated and difficult technology, we believe these blog posts give them confidence, information and the tools needed to navigate this new world of high-tech and alternatively-fuelled vehicles – the audience figures and ranking supports that!”

The blog has attracted interest, aside from the UK, from the United States, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Australia, France, Netherlands, Canada and Romania.
