Melett charges forward on social media

Date: Thursday 29 April 2021

The automotive industry can now keep up to date with the latest turbocharger news and activity from Melett, the leading supplier of precision engineered turbochargers and parts, via social media.

Recognising the growing audience across the various platforms, the specialist has joined Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, complementing the company’s established YouTube presence, where it has found success thanks to its vast array of technical tips and informative videos.

The new accounts will enable customers to access information and advice more efficiently through a variety of channels and will ensure Melett can maximise brand exposure to an even greater and more targeted audience.

Darren Johnson, group sales director at Melett, said: “The way in which the automotive sector digests information is constantly evolving and we’re always looking to develop our communication with customers to ensure we can provide them with the latest updates in the most efficient and accessible way possible.”

Melett recently launched a series of educational technical videos via its YouTube channel, as well as on its website, to illustrate common turbocharger failures and to provide advice on how to prevent future issues occurring.

The ‘turbo tips’ videos were introduced as a response to frequently asked questions and customer feedback, and the short hands-on videos can be used by turbocharger repairers for training and reference purposes, or to demonstrate failure causes to garages and motorists.
