Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation – Launch of the public consultation

Following on from the previous announcement, the European Commission has finally launched the public consultation to evaluate the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation.

This is a very important exercise as the European Commission will be basing its decision on, amongst other things, the outcome of this consultation as to whether to maintain, modernise or drop this crucial piece of legislation.

FIGIEFA will be studying the content of the consultation/questionnaire more in detail in order to coordinate inputs with various interested parties.

This public consultation is open until the 25th of January, which will allow sufficient time to prepare a well researched contribution.
