Multiple energy storage solutions from Ecobat Battery

Date: Thursday 12 October 2023

Due to the ever present threat of ongoing global instability caused by conflict or natural events, never has the storage of the precious energy that has been generated, whether from using natural resources or through environmental means, been so important. As a result, it is one of the central concerns for both the architects and construction engineers responsible for commercial building projects and property developers alike.

Responding to this demand, Ecobat Battery will be using Solar & Storage Live at NEC Birmingham (stand J9), to present wholesalers and decision makers with multiple options that separately or in unison can provide the ideal energy storage solution for projects large or small. Among these include new products from two leading players: Rolls Battery and EcoFlow.

The innovation from Rolls Battery is the S-Series LFP ESS, a 48-volt, 5.12 kWh LiFePO4 (lithium-iron-phosphate) modular battery system that features a built in LCD screen and controls, with a secondary protected rack mounted case design and PC compatibility. These units have the distinct advantage of being hugely scalable, as they can be used singly or, by using the matching LTP ESS modular cabinet, stacked together to a maximum of eight, all neatly contained in a smart and streamlined system with locking castors for excellent mobility and top mount connectivity, including CAN bus for maximum convenience. Where the need arises, as many as 15 units can be joined in parallel.

Turning to EcoFlow, it’s households that produce solar energy for their domestic consumption and sale to the national grid that this new product will raise interest with, as it enables them to store their excess energy for periods when their solar production is not possible!

The EcoFlow PowerOcean DC Fit, sits between the solar panels and the existing inverter, and as no additional storage inverter is required, the system can be seamlessly installed without any extra certification and instantly add a battery storage capacity to the home, which can be called upon for instant power.

As well as being quick to install, it can be located inside or outside and features Smart monitoring via a web portal or an App, has an integrated battery management system, is equipped with an auto heat module to ensure efficient winter operation and has fire suppression built in.

Alongside these notable introductions, and to further demonstrate its considerable power storage expertise, Ecobat Battery will also have a host of other solutions on display, as well as a team of knowledgeable professionals on hand to discuss general matters or address specific requirements, making a visit to the stand a great place for visitors to discover the options available.
