New BDM To Deliver Banner Power In South West & Ireland

Helping to drive forward its already prominent position within the automotive aftermarket across the South West and Ireland, Banner – leading European original equipment manufacturer of batteries and battery accessories - has appointed Matthew Evans as Business Development Manager.

Reporting directly to Country Manager, Lee Quinney, Matt will be responsible for targeting Banner’s diverse and growing customer base of motor factors, garages, independent distributors and other specialist automotive parts outlets. Well versed in technical product training, Matt’s role will also focus heavily on delivering Banner’s bespoke customer training courses relating to all things batteries to motor factors, workshops and garages.

Joining Banner from Draper Tools where Matt had a proven track record in delivering outstanding automotive product sales results on a nationwide basis, Matt has nine years experience within the automotive sector, having also enjoyed a 4 ½ year spell with tool and garage equipment specialists, G.M.F. In his role as Banner’s new BDM for the South West and Ireland, Matt also intends to call upon his customer service experience having previously worked within the leisure sector.

Commenting on his new role, an enthusiastic Matt said:

In order to continue to develop Banner’s market penetration across the South West and Ireland, I shall be looking to focus on four key principles – promoting O/E product quality aligned to price competitiveness, delivering outstanding levels of customer service, and developing long-standing and successful customer relationships.”
