Philips completes the ranks of UK Top Garage and Top Technician Partner Brands for 2021

Lumileds, the developers, manufacturers and marketers of Philips automotive lighting products globally, are proud to announce that Philips Automotive Lighting has become the final name included as a main sponsor partner for this year’s Top Garage and Top Technician awards scheme.

As an OE supplier of lighting for one in every three new cars manufactured in Europe, Philips products have always been associated with quality in the automotive sector. This message is now set to be further advanced through this new partnership.

This is the mindset that has brought Philips Automotive Lighting to Top Technician and Top Garage as Lumileds UK and Ireland Country Manager, Richard Armstrong explains.

The format of the awards means that Philips vehicle lighting products will actually feature in the competition as part of the practical assessments, particularly with Top Technician, which includes various tests that the entrants undertake at both the semi-final and final stages.

Ten years ago, the Philips Workshop Lighting range was born - using high quality LED lighting from the outset which offers mechanics optimal and comfortable light to work on a job without tiring the eyes. Since then the range has developed using new technology to constantly improve the various types of light and lamp designs that make up the Philips range. The semi-finalists and finalists of Top Garage and Top Technician will get to use the latest generation of Philips workshop lighting and inspection lights.

The Semi-finals of Top Technician and Top Garage will be in September with the Finals and awards ceremony on October 8th.
