The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation

Randstad joins IAAF membership

Date: Thursday 13 October 2022

Automotive consumables supplier and distributor of the TerraClean brand, Randstad, has become a supplier member of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF).

Randstad started in 1975 and has grown to become one of the UK’s largest automotive suppliers of parts and consumables such as spark plugs, wiper blades and vehicle bulbs to independent garages throughout the UK.

The company is also the exclusive distributor of the TerraClean vehicle engine cleaning service throughout the UK and Europe, creating a network of more than 500 authorised service centres and championing the emissions reducing technology.

Phillip Dowd, managing director at Randstad, said:

“It’s great to be part of the IAAF as the Federation continues to modernise. Also, the increased content and work it is doing with garages makes the IAAF extremely appealing for our business as we introduce a wider range of products and services into the market.”

As IAAF’s newest member, Randstad will have access to many of the federation’s benefits, including entry to industry networking events and insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket.

“The IAAF is protecting the automotive aftermarket with its extensive work on MOTs and Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulations. It’s important we support this and make people more aware of this valuable activity,” said Dowd.

Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, said:

“It’s great that more and more automotive businesses are seeking out IAAF membership as part of their business development and marketing activity. We’ll continue to support our member businesses such as Randstad ensuring they and every member have a strong voice where it matters.”
