Registrations are open! FAAS Sustainability Day 2023

Date: Thursday 21 September 2023

FAAS is thrilled to announce that registration for our inaugural FAAS Sustainability Day is officially open! The event, to be held on the 17th of November in Bologna as part of the esteemed Futurmotive event by Autopromotec, promises to be a cornerstone in the journey towards a more sustainable future in the European Aftermarket.

The FAAS Sustainability Day offers a unique platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and the exploration of cutting-edge green innovations relevant for the Automotive Aftermarket. The attached event agenda will be led by prominent panels, presentations, best practice examples delving into vital sustainability topics and challenges. These discussions will also spotlight the innovations essential for paving the way towards a decarbonised aftermarket.

Sylvia Gotzen, Chief Executive of FIGIEFA:

“The first FAAS Sustainability Day will be the opportunity to expand on the topics that are driving today’s agenda at all levels: from decarbonisation to new green products, from operations to value chain, this years’ edition will be the opportunity to learn from the experts and establish long-lasting connections that will drive the industry in the years to come.”

To secure your spot at the FAAS Sustainability Day, please proceed with the registration process on our website.

If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your participation is essential in driving the aftermarket’s sustainability agenda forward, and we look forward to welcoming you to the FAAS Sustainability Day.

Why should you join the Forum on Automotive Aftermarket Sustainability?
The FAAS aims to establish a platform where all participants in the automotive aftermarket can exchange ideas, cultivate, and adopt sustainable practices. The goal is to transform the European aftermarket sector into a fully accountable and proactive industry.

To do this, the initiative wants to bridge knowledge gaps within the sector and equip companies with the necessary tools to actively participate in sustainability efforts as well as propel transformation within the automotive aftermarket supply chain by offering sustainable solutions and contributing to global initiatives such as the energy transition, low-carbon production, pollution reduction, and the circular economy. With all of this, we can this leverage our collective influence to foster a more sustainable aftermarket.

Frank Schlehuber, Senior Consultant Market Affairs:

“We are now approaching an important milestone for the FAAS: the shift from an initiative to a Non-Profit International Association representing and supporting the Automotive Aftermarket on the way to more sustainable business practices. Let’s make the FAAS the forum to leverage all the creativity and relevant synergies that will boost the sustainability performance of our sector and make it fit for the future!”
