Return of The CV Show welcomes TMD Friction

Date: Friday 20 August 2021

TMD Friction, via its brands Textar, Mintex and Don, has announced that it will be exhibiting at The CV Show 2021, showcasing its vast range of commercial vehicle (CV) and light commercial (LCV) braking products, including pads, discs, van kits and more on stand number 5B89.

Held at the NEC in Birmingham on 31st August – 2nd September 2021, The CV Show is back and will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines to maximise the health and safety of both visitors and exhibitors.

As well as being able to get hands on with TMD‘s full braking range, visitors to the stand will also get a first look at Textar CV‘s new product packaging, which now features the PROriginal safety seal that was successfully introduced last year in the passenger car sector – a move that offers better protection against counterfeiting, as well as new labelling for all its CV brake pads.

This offers additional, helpful product information arranged in a new overall layout that is considerably clearer and easier to understand.

The PROriginal safety seal for Commercial Vehicles performs the same function as the seal already used on passenger car products. On the back of the seal is a QR code and a twelve-digit alphanumerical code, both of which are individually linked to the contents.

CV and LCV operators can also learn more about TMD‘s revamped online catalogue system Brakebook, which allows customers to create printable catalogues tailored to their individual requirements and in the desired formats.

The CV Show has built a reputation as the best attended, largest and the most comprehensive road transport and commercial vehicle event held in Britain and tthe TMD Friction experts will be on hand to network with like-minded industry professionals.

Scott Irwin, MIMI, Head of Technical Training at TMD Friction IAM said:

“TMD has been at the forefront of brake friction technology for over a century and The CV show provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our technical expertise and the high quality of our braking range first hand. We‘re looking forward to the return of meeting with customers face-to-face and revealing our latest new-to-range parts.”
