Ring and OSRAM dominate at UK Garage & Bodyshop Event

Date: Friday 14 June 2024

Renowned lighting specialists, OSRAM and Ring, have revealed it experienced an incredible show at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event at the NEC on 5th and 6th June.

The companies shared an impressive stand, with an extenstive display of their products, including a focus on the original equipment (OE) lighting solutions OSRAM provides, as well as Ring’s aftermarket battery care, workshop tools, and inspection lamps, with new products taking centre stage and attracting a lot of attention.

Experts from both Ring and OSRAM were on hand throughout the show to discuss products, offer advice and expertise and perform product demonstrations if needed.

The companies also sponsored the Content Creator Award at the Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards on the 5th June, which celebrated the garage industry. The Ring and OSRAM sponsored Content Creator Award was won by Barry Meredith, Senior Vehicle Technician at Chirk Service Station which recognises talented automotive content creators making a mark in the sector, who execute smart and original content that elevates brands and the wider automotive aftermarket.

Henry Bisson, Marketing Director at Ring, said: “The UK Garage & Bodyshop Event continues to be a fantastic event for us, with a lot of people coming to our stand to see the products we offer and discuss what they require in their business.

“It also gives us the opportunity to communicate with current and new customers about what we can help them with, whether that’s lighting solutions from Ring or OSRAM or one of our other ranges from Ring that are only continuing to grow in popularity, such as the battery and tyre care ranges we offer, as well as solutions for electric vehicles. We’ve launched a lot of new products since the last time we were at this show, such as new worklamps, battery analysers, tyre inflators, so this gives customers the chance to handle these new products and see if it’s something they want to invest in for their workshop.”
