The IAAF BEN Golf Day 2022 will take place on Friday 12 August and for the very first time, guests will be able to play the Arden Championship Course at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Meriden, Warwickshire.

  • Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive competition
  • Evening Meal
  • Prize Presentation

The Arden Course, designed by Donald Steele in 1992, has played host to a succession of international tournaments, including the British Masters and the English Open. The par 72 course, measuring 7,213 yards, is a true test of golf designed to make golfers play a wide range of shots. A variety of different tee boxes, water hazards, trees, which neatly line the fairways, and thick rough make the Arden Golf Course long and challenging but still a very enjoyable test of golf for golfers of all abilities. The hotel is set in 10,000 acres of woodland but is located just 4 miles from Birmingham International airport and Birmingham International Railway station. It is a few minutes’ drive from the M6, M42, M5 and A45 road network. The National Exhibition Centre (Birmingham) is only 4 miles from the hotel.

As in previous years, spaces at the event are in demand, and those interested are encouraged to register their interest by contacting Ann Silvester at the IAAF head office: anns@iaaf.co.uk.

Full costs and sponsorship opportunities will be available shortly.
