Service member village grows at IAAF Conference 2022

Date: Thursday 20 October 2022

An extended service member village will feature at the return of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF)’s annual conference, held at Double Tree Hilton in Milton Keynes on Thursday 8th December.

The service member village offers businesses the opportunity to network with delegates, showcase their companies and achieve higher degrees of exposure than ever before.

The IAAF is pleased to host its annual conference and awards dinner for 2022, face-to-face, after two years of virtual events. Confirmed stands at the expanded member village include E-Motive, Hive Insurance, Phocas Software, Boswells, Glen Callum Associates, Autotech Recruit and Elcome.

Mark Field, chief executive of IAAF, said:

“The service member village will be bigger and better this year with more companies signed up. The IAAF conference is also moving to a larger room to allow more members to attend.”

The theme for this year’s IAAF conference is ‘Overcoming adversity, the path to a prosperous aftermarket future’. The sector, like many others, is faced with numerous internal and external challenges including Brexit, the legacy of the Covid pandemic, supply chain and logistics issues, and skills shortages. The conference will explore these and the opportunities available to every business and individual in the automotive aftermarket.

Further opportunities for brand exposure are on offer at the conference with service members being given the chance to sponsor advertisement slots, which will display large videos during the conference intervals.

The conference will feature inspirational war veteran and campaigner Robin Horsfall as its keynote speaker, with his speeches underlined with the theme of overcoming adversity. UK AFCAR and IAAF technical director Neil Pattemore will provide delegates with insight into legislation affecting the UK aftermarket post-Brexit, and Quentin le Hetet will present findings of the first IAAF Aftermarket Trend Index.
