Shaftec team takes the plunge for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice

Date: Friday 14 June 2024

On August 23rd, a courageous team from Shaftec will embark on an exhilarating tandem skydive to raise funds for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry.

This thrilling adventure is part of Shaftec’s ongoing commitment to supporting the hospice, which provides vital care for babies and infants with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

The team, consisting of Steven Healy, Jason Henry, Max Chatwin, and Adrian Kitchen, is determined to make this adrenaline-fueled challenge a success.

Each team member will be harnessed to a qualified instructor, freefalling from 14,000 feet at speeds up to 120mph before floating gently to the ground.

Last year, Shaftec participated in various fundraising activities for Zoe’s Place. This year, it aims to raise £6,600 to help cover the £3,300 daily cost of running the hospice.

“We are feeling a mix of nerves and excitement for this skydive, but it’s all for an incredible cause. We are proud to support Zoe’s Place and all the work they do,” said the team. “Donating is simple, fast, and secure. We thank you in advance for any donations and support.”
