Tenneco’s DRiV™ Motorparts business introduces Walker® replacement SCR systems for more than 1 400,000 passenger vehicles

Date: Tuesday 22 November 2022

Tenneco’s DRiV Motorparts business has announced the availability of Walker® replacement selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems for more than 1 400,000 passenger vehicles in operation across Europe. Tenneco is a leading supplier of SCR systems and other Clean Air technologies to global manufacturers of light- and commercial vehicles as well as equipment used in marine, industrial and rail applications.

Now available through leading replacement parts distributors are Walker SCR systems for the following vehicles: Citroën Grand C4 Picasso II and Picasso II (2013 and newer), and Grand C4 SpaceTourer and SpaceTourer (2018 and newer); and Peugeot 308 Hatchback van (2015 and newer), 308 II (2013-2021), 308 SW II (2014-2021), 308 SW II Estate Van (2014 and newer), 3008 SUV (2016 and newer) and 5008 II (2016-newer). Check www.walkercatalogue.eu or TecDoc for exact production dates covered by each new Walker system.

DRiV introduced the European aftermarket’s first replacement SCR system, for 2016 Ford Transit vans, in 2018. The new Walker systems address repair opportunities for approximately 760,600 vehicles in operation, enabling aftermarket distributors and service providers to expand their shares of the emissions control service category.

Modern SCR systems manufactured by Tenneco comprise several components, including an additive tank that houses reducing fluid; a mixer ring that mixes the reducing agent with exhaust gases; an SCR catalyst; and an electronic control unit that works in conjunction with multiple sensors to ensure correct operation.

“The Walker brand is a trusted single source of original equipment-quality emissions control technologies,” said Audrey Harling, group vice president and general manager, EMEA Motorparts, Tenneco. “By choosing Walker, automotive workshops and mechanics can be certain they are installing the latest and best products available for their customers’ vehicles.”
