UK Garage and Bodyshop Event visitor presented with £5,000 prize haul

Messe Frankfurt UK, organisers of this year’s inaugural UK Garage and Bodyshop Event, has presented a prize haul to a lucky visitor worth over £5,000.

Simon Albert, managing director of Messe Frankfurt UK travelled to Kidderminster, Worcestershire, to present Jim Thomas, director of SMART Bodyshop Solutions with the prize haul, which included tickets for a luxury holiday to the principality of Monaco.

Thousands of guests to the first UK Garage and Bodyshop Event, held at the NEC in Birmingham, entered into the draw to win the trip to Monaco, plus tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a Formula One track day experience, and a Tool Connection toolbox.

Jim was one of over 3,500 business owners to visit the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event from June 8th-9th at the NEC in Birmingham. The one-of-a-kind, national event received widespread acclaim and will now feature in alternate years at the Automechanika Birmingham exhibition.

“I’m ecstatic, it’s absolutely superb. I’ve never won anything before so I’m really happy,” Jim said, being presented with the prize at his premises in Kidderminster.
