Weweler® road springs now available through Roadlink International

Date: Thursday 09 July 2020

Roadlink International has extended its offering to customers after becoming an official distributor of Weweler® road springs, providing premium quality multi-leaf and parabolic springs for the CV aftermarket, as well as U-Bolts and fittings.

The appointment enables Roadlink to supply an even greater range of products to customers, including its braking and suspension solutions, and meets an increased demand from a wider vehicle parc as Weweler springs have been redesigned to suit specific vehicle models and operations.

A full range of stock is available from Roadlink’s central distribution centre in Willenhall, West Midlands. Customers are provided with added reassurance as all products in the range come complete with a two-year warranty.

Popular vehicle makes are covered through the range, including Mercedes, Daf, Scania, Volvo, MAN, Iveco, Renault, and also the following trailer axle and suspension manufacturers: BPW, SAF, Meritor, Fruehauf, Schmitz.

Keith Sedgley, managing director of Roadlink International, said:

“This is a major addition to the Roadlink product portfolio and fully complements our existing high-quality offering. Weweler is a fantastic, well-known brand within the industry and customers will be able to source the widest range of products, delivered next day. We have exciting plans for the brand in the UK and Ireland and will ensure customers are a key part of its growth and development.”

With an OEM pedigree, Weweler springs are durable, state of the art, reliable and cost-effective and used by leading OE axle, trailer and truck & bus manufacturers worldwide including: Schmitz Cargobull, Valx, DAF, Dennis and many more.

The springs are made with strict dimensional precision in accordance with Original Equipment (OE) specifications, saving technicians invaluable time and allowing them to benefit from quick installation.

There is also a reduced risk of crack formation as the products offer high levels of endurance thanks to new alloys that are used in high-quality steel.

Featuring a thorough surface treatment for immense resistance to corrosion, water based paint is used as a standard for all Weweler parabolic springs and trailing arms supplied to the OEM. This means the anti-corrosive properties are stronger than most zinc-based coatings.

The use of new alloys in high-quality steel, a ‘Free Bending Hardening’ method (FBH), combined with High-stress Shot-peening brought Weweler® springs to one of the highest levels of endurance.
