Schaeffler introduces AI assisted PartFinder system

Thursday 12 Mar 2026

New platform supports faster hands on part number identification support from Schaeffler’s technical team

Schaeffler has introduced a new free AI assisted online PartFinder enquiry tool designed to help garages, factors and distributors quickly identify the correct replacement parts they need by streamlining technical support requests.

Available through a link on the Schaeffler online catalogue page, or by heading direct to https://partfinder.dp.schaeffler, PartFinder allows users to submit part identification enquiries directly online. Once submitted, users receive a unique ticket reference number and email confirmation, ensuring every enquiry is tracked, as well as quicker and easier to follow up.

The tool has been introduced to support the growing number of technical and product number enquiry calls made to the REPXPERT hotline by workshops and motor factors across the UK and Ireland.

While the technical hotline also remains fully available, the new online system offers several advantages for busy workshops:

• Free and faster enquiry submission

• Clear tracking through a ticket reference number

• Email confirmation for records

• Easier to follow-up previous requests

• Reduced waiting times during busy periods

PartFinder is particularly useful for workshops needing quick clarification on vehicle applications, part references or product identification, and by submitting enquiries online, users can provide detailed vehicle information to help the Schaeffler technical team respond more efficiently.

Alistair Mason, Technical Services Manager at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions UK Ltd, explained: “Workshops are busier than ever, so we’re always looking for ways to make our support quicker and easier. The new PartFinder system allows garages and motor factors to submit enquiries online and receive a reference number instantly. This means their request is logged, tracked and handled efficiently by our technical team.”

The REPXPERT hotline remains available for urgent technical support, but Schaeffler encourages workshops to use the free online PartFinder tool for part identification enquiries when possible. Users can access the system directly through a link on the Schaeffler catalogue page at https://vls.schaeffler.co.uk/catalog or by navigating straight to https://partfinder.dp.schaeffler
