May New to Range: febi (Car, LCV & Truck) and Blue Print (Car & LCV)
897 new part numbers were added to stock across the febi Car, LCV, Truck, and Blue Print ranges in May. The breakdown includes:
The independent automotive aftermarket depends on precise and timely data to support parts identification, catalogue accuracy, and efficient downstream processes. Growing data volumes and frequent corrections increase operational pressure, while limited update frequency and manual delta creation can slow time-to-market.
TecAlliance introduces the TecDoc IDP Data Receiver API to improve data capabilities by reducing manual effort and enabling faster access to updates.
The API serves as the gateway to TecDoc Instant Data Processing (IDP), retrieving the latest available data updates. For organisations currently using the TecDoc Data Package, the new API provides an additional way to access and manage data through a modern integration approach.
“With the IDP Data Receiver API, we’re giving data users a faster lane to TecDoc Data updates,” said Product Owner Benjamin Behr, “Instead of waiting for full package deliveries and processing complete datasets, customers can now react to changes and streamline downstream processing. This is especially valuable for teams operating time-sensitive catalogue, e-commerce, and inventory workflows.”
TecDoc Data supports automotive aftermarket businesses with comprehensive and standardised spare parts information designed to improve parts identification accuracy and operational efficiency across workflows such as catalogue management, e-commerce enrichment, and multilingual product communication. TecDoc Data currently covers 1,150+ brands, 254K+ vehicle types, 636M+ vehicle linkages, and 11.9M article data records, and includes 10k+ standardised products to help harmonise product naming and classification across markets.
The first set of TecDoc Reference Data available via the IDP Data Receiver API includes KTypes of passenger cars, motorcycles, and light commercial vehicles. The available scope also includes engines connected to vehicles, Generic Articles that standardise product names, criteria used to describe articles, and key tables required for some criteria and referenced across the reference model.
Compared to traditional Data Package deliveries, the IDP Data Receiver API provides faster access to new, updated, or deleted objects and reduces processing effort by delivering deltas rather than complete datasets. The interface increases flexibility by enabling selection and retrieval of only the relevant data, and it supports modern API-based integration into existing systems.
The access to the next set of data, including NTypes, axles, driver cabs, and transmission, is planned for mid-2026.
