WAI’s Sales Director, Marc Roder, recently visited South Africa to reinforce WAI’s strong partnership with Motus Aftermarket Parts, a key collaborator in the region. This visit highlights the company’s commitment to supporting distributors, retail partners and specialists across the country.
During the visit, Roder met with a diverse range of stakeholders, including dedicated distributors, retail partners and industry specialists. He commented: “It was an inspiring trip to see how invested everyone is in the brand. The personal connection really resonates in this market.”
Feedback from customers was overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding the quality and reliability of the company’s rotating electrics range. Many highlighted how the products have enhanced their business operations and appreciated the company’s active involvement in ensuring mutual success.
South Africa plays a significant role in WAI’s broader global strategy. The company continues to support Motus in expanding its electrical program and sees the region as a key focus for future growth.
Roder explained: “There is a growing demand for new units while traditional markets continue to require high-quality components that perform across diverse vehicle platforms, from passenger cars to heavy-duty and mining applications.”
The visit also identified opportunities to build on trends in the market, particularly as South Africa progresses with the latest vehicle technologies and maintains a broad car parc. WAI’s hands-on approach and full coverage of the vehicle parc were highly appreciated.
